Update April 2015

Greetings in the Name of the Lord!

This has been a busy month including a trip to the Philippines and we have a long update this month.  I pray you will take the time to read and enjoy what God has done this month.

Here is a report of our 10 day trip to Manila and to Butuan City.  First of all we want to thank everyone for your prayers and support that enables us to minister all over SE Asia.  A special thank you to Church On The Rock Golden Triangle who paid for a large part of the expenses for this trip.  Other expenses came from all of you who support us every month. We thank you so much!

We had a very productive trip and met many new pastors and leaders from local churches in the area where we ministered. We stayed in Manila the first day and met with the director of the Christian Fellowship of Churches in the Cavite area along with other pastors and ministers in that area.

On the 11th we flew to the Island of Butuan for two days of ministry.  We were able to minister a village church on Sunday which was a great blessing for us.  They all welcomed us with open hearts and God moved among us.

On Monday, we were the guest speakers for the 4th anniversary service for the COTR Church in Butuan City.  God moved through Annie and I as we preached the morning and the afternoon.  There were several pastors there from other churches in different parts of the Island.  After the service we were able to take all the pastors and leaders out for Philippine Dessert.  They all said it was a special treat for them.  Two of the pastors want us to visit their churches when we visit again.  Praise God!

On the 14th, we flew back to Manila for the remainder of our time.  On Wednesday we had the great honor and privilege to baptize 10 new converts in the COTR Cavite Church.  They held the baptism at a resort in a swimming pool there. It was awesome the power of God was with us and spoke many prophetic words over the ones being baptized.  One woman was 9 months pregnant and her baby is a boy named Daniel.  We were able to baptize the mother and the baby in the womb at the same time.  Lol.

Also while I was baptizing the people, Annie was witnessing to a young man watching all that was going on. After we insisted the young boy Annie was witnessing to, went to the pastor and asked him about his church and wanted to know where he could find a church like theirs.  He directed him to a church in his area.

On Thursday, we were able to feed about 40 to 50 poor children in the area of the church. What a blessing! They were so cute. Blessed be the little children. If you give even a glass of water to a child in my name you will receive a reward in Heaven.

Then on Friday, Annie got to minister to a women’s fellowship with a luncheon for them as well.  God spoke to the women through Annie and many were blessed by the word she shared with them.

Later on that night, I was able to preach to about 70 youth from many of the local churches.  God moved mightily as we laid hands and prayed for all of them individually.  God spoke to many of them and called many to the ministry. Praise God!

On Sunday and our last full day there, we ministered in the morning service at the COTR Cavite, Bacoor Church.  God anointed us with a special anointing and moved among the people once again.

Then in the afternoon, we were able to participate in a wedding of a couple that are members in the church.  They wanted to dedicate their marriage to God, and I was able to speak and encouraging word to them during the wedding.  Praise God.

SUMMARY:

Over all I am pleased and happy the way that things went on this trip.  I truly do believe it was God ordained and from God.  I myself was encouraged and see an ongoing ministry here with the churches and pastors.  They all want us to come back next year and God willing and provision provided, we will plan on going.  Please pray for us too, we are wanting to get more support to make these kind of trips more frequently and of course that takes more provision.

There are two ways that I would like to help in the Cavite church and with Pastor Lito’s family:

1.     They need install a tin roof and tile the floors.  This would cost only about $1,000 USD.

2.    I would like to find three sponsors for Lito”s Children.  Pastor Lito’s wife passed away last year and left him with three beautiful little girls to take care of and as you can imagine trying to care for them, work a part time job, and do the ministry as well, without the mother is truly a burden for Lito.  If we could find sponsors for the children it would  help him to be able to focus on ministry more than now.  If possible, we would like to find a sponsor willing to provide $100 USD per month for each child.

If anyone is interested in helping with either one of these projects please message me and I will give you details on how you can help.

Okay, thanks again to everyone!  Things here in Thailand are going great!  Please pray for our trip to America in August and September.

We still have dates open for ministry and are as follows:

Sunday – August    16, 23;  October 4

Wednesday – August 5, 12, 19, 26;  September 2,30

Also, we need a car to use for these two months.  So if you have a second car that you are not using, please let us know too.

God bless you all and we love you all!

March Update 2015

Greetings everyone!

Praise God for all things.  All things are well here in Thailand, God is moving and souls are being saved.  Annie and I are presently preparing for our trip to the Philippines next month from 9-20th of April. We will be in Manila for two days and then to Butuan an island further to the south.  We will spend three days there then return to Manila for the remainder of our time. We will be visiting churches and also will be spending time with many pastors as well. Please pray for our protection as we travel and that God will use us mightily to bless the people and the pastors who we will be visiting. We want to be a blessing, to encourage and to impart to the pastors there. Thank you once again to Pastor Ron Hammonds and COTRGT for helping make this trip possible.  May God bless you all over and above all you have done for us!

Please pray for our trip to America.  We will be visiting for a little over two months, from July 28 to October 6. Pray that our itinerary will be full because we still have several days available right now.  If you are a pastor or if your church would like us to come and share about what is going on here in Thailand, please contact me.  Here are the dates that are available right now:

Sunday – August   9, 16, 23;  October 4

Wednesday – August 5, 12, 19, 26; September 2, 23,30

Please pray that our airfare and all of our all of our expenses will be met for the whole trip. As always when we are traveling please pray for our safety and for our health.

All the churches that we minister in here in Thailand are all doing good and God is blessing them all.  Here in Prakhonchai the new church building foundation is finished and now they will start the filling then inside of the foundation with dirt, then they will start on the poles.  Praise God!

Please as a special prayer request for Annie and I for direction and conformation in our lives. We are feeling like God is wanting us to reach out and do some new and different kinds of ministries.  So, we need to hear from God and also need conformations on the things we have in our heart already.  So please keep us in prayer and pray we will hear God's voice in every decision we will be making in our future.  We are excited about all that God is doing all over the earth today.  As we can see real easy that Jesus will be coming back soon.  We all have a lot of work to do to get ready for His coming!  Amen?

We are praying that while we are in America  that we can meet new churches and that God would lay on their hearts to support us because if what we are feeling is from God, we will need more financial support to be able to do it.

We thank you all for your prayers and financial support. We truly do appreciate and love every one of you.  We know that we could not do what we do without you.
God bless you all and we do love you!

Update February 2015

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus!

God is good!  All the time!  This month has been a busy month for Annie and I.  But praise God, that is the way we like it right now.  We want to do as much as we can while we have the strength and energy to do it.  At our age, only God knows how much longer we will be able to go like this. Haha

 Prakhonchai Church

We started this month here in Prakhonchai with Annie teaching a new class with women leaders in the church and me preaching the main service. God is moving here in many ways and I am always amazed that there are so many new people that have come to the Lord over the last two months.

The church is growing and the new building is going along one step at a time. The foundation is almost completed and then the next phase will begin.  The radio station is still going strong and people are hearing the gospel all around our area.  We hear that many are believing in Jesus already but still not brave enough to come to church. We are praying that God give them the boldness to make that step. Amen?

 Malaysia Trip

The second weekend we had the opportunity to go to Malaysia to support a young couple in our church.  The young lady is from Malaysia and the young man is from Thailand.  They eloped about 4 years ago and got married without their parents approval because she was Christian and he was Buddhist.  The girl also went away from the Lord during this time but came to Prakhonchai church and recommitted her life to God. Then shortly after her husband began coming to church and he also believed in Jesus and became a Christian. After contacting her parents, they wanted them to come back and have a Christian blessing service for their marriage.  They invited us to go to support them and represent the boy's family. So, Annie and I prayed and felt that God wanted us to go, so we went thinking it was going to be a time of site seeing and being a supportive role for this young couple. But God has a plan that we don't always know.  The first day we went site seeing like we expected.  The second day was Sunday and we went to the church she grew up in and later in the afternoon they had the marriage blessing. It was a wonderful time and beautiful service and fellowship. One of the brother-in- laws even got saved at the service. Hallelujah!

Then on Monday we were going site seeing for the day. But before we left for the mountains, they wanted us to pray for her sister because she and her husband had been trying to have a baby for over three years with no success.  They had been to doctors and spent all kind of money trying to have a baby. Annie and I prayed over her sister and her husband, then Annie ministered to her sister-in-law as well and God moved in her heart and will never be the same again.  After that we went on our site seeing trip and returned to our room late that evening.  I was getting ready to silent my phone and I noticed a message from our spiritual daughter that said, " My sister is pregnant!"  Wow, God works quick!  She had tested her pregnancy with a home tester and it showed positive. Since we have been back to Thailand the doctor has confirmed her pregnancy and they are baffled at how she got pregnant. There were many factors that didn't make sense except the fact that God did a miracle.  Hallelujah again!  They also reported that many of the family had been away from church and now had recommitted their lives to God!  Praise God. So, a trip we thought was just blessing a young couple who just came to Jesus, turned out to be a weekend of miracles by God. Thank you Jesus!

 Ministry in Khon Kaen

We just finished ministering again in the Khon Kaen church and it is just awesome the reports we are hearing about the young people in the homes.  There about 16 teenagers we have been doing a heart repair ministry with them and they are changing by leaps and bound to be on fire for God.  Many have been set free and delivered.  Almost all of them have made a commitment to serve God full time. Annie and I feel so privileged that God is using us to rise up this new generation.  We have committed to help them for the rest of this year.

Philippine Trip in April

It's official and set in order, we will be going to the Philippines to minister April 9 - 20.  We will be ministering in Manila and also on the island of Butuan.  Our main objective in this trip is not so much ministering a lot of meetings but we are focusing on pastors and spending time and encouraging those who are out on the frontlines. Of course we will be ministering in the churches on Sunday but during the week we will be visiting as many pastors that we can both in Butuan and Manila.  Please be in prayer for this trip and for Annie and I that God will anoint us and use us to impart, encourage and strengthen the pastors and the Body of Christ that we are in relationship with there.  I would like to give a special thanks to Pastor Ron Hammonds and Church on the Rock Golden Triangle for helping us to make this trip possible. They are always a blessing to us in helping us to reach out to the Southeast Asia. Amen!  We pray God will bless them for all they do for the Kingdom of God!

Annie and I praise God for all of your prayers and support as well!  Without you we could not do what we are doing. We appreciate every single one of you. We pray God will bless you all in all that you do!
We love you all!

July Update 2014

Greetings in the Name of JESUS!

We pray all is well with you and God is continuing to bless you all!

Annie and I are doing great and God is blessing us in all that we do. We just had our routine health checkups this month. Annie's blood work was great, her sugar and  cholesterol levels were normal.  I had a complete physical and looks like I am in good shape. All the blood work was good except my cholesterol was a little bit high. The good news was last year they saw a cyst on both kidneys, one 2.4 cm and one 7 cm, but this year the 7 cm cyst has disappeared!  Praise God!  Now we are believing for the little one to go away too. Amen?  Thank you for all of your prayers for our health, God is answering them.

Here at the church in Prakhonchai everything is going great and God continues to move every service. I had a first time experience a few weeks ago.  There was an Australian with his Thai family in the service and he and his whole family received JESUS as their Lord.  It was the first time that I preached in Thai and a foreigner got saved!  Thank God he could understand Thai! Praise God!  We are seeing people saved, healed and delivered every week. God is good!

Please pray for our radio station.  Since the military coup, the government has shut down all radio stations so we have not been able to broadcast for about a month now.  The new government has put more restrictions and rules to go by but the good news is that we have all of the necessary paperwork and have followed all the rules. The problem now is we have to get it all approved before we can start broadcasting again. So please pray for God's favor so we can start broadcasting again. It is such a valuable tool for evangelism in our area.  There has been several people get saved via the radio station. So God help us get back on line!  Amen?

Pray for the new building, we are moving along one bite at a time. Keep this project in your prayers as we believe God for all the provision to build our new church. Amen?

God is continuing to bless Annie and I as we go to other churches and minister every other week. We are now ministering to our church and 4 other smaller churches on a regular basis. We are seeing progress and fruit in each church that we are ministering in.  Please pray that God will continue to use us as a blessing everywhere we go.

I have a special prayer request for the pastor at the church we minister in at Saraburi. His name is pastor Sawai. He has a liver disease and has been very sick over the last two weeks and running a high fever. Please agree with us and pray for a complete healing for his body and that God will do a miracle and heal him completely. Amen?

Please continue to pray for Annie and I as we continue to move out and help other churches. We need good health, strength, energy, and provision to do all of the things God is calling us to do.  We will be ministering in a Church camp again in November with several churches coming together. Much prayer is needed for this meeting.  Also, we are planning a trip to India in October and a trip to Vietnam this year as well.  So please pray for everything to go according to Gods will!  Amen?

Okay God bless you all and thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. Without you we could not do what we do!

We love you all!

June Update 2014

Mukdahan, Thailand along the Mekong River

Greetings in the Name of the Lord!

Wow, time flies when your having fun!  It is hard to believe July is almost here already. This year is half over already and things are moving so fast.  We are now reaching out and ministering in four churches other than here in Prakhonchai.

Glory Way Church Mukdahan

Savations!

We were blessed to minister in a new small church in a city on the border of Laos. The name of the church is Glory Way Church Mukdahan and has about 50 member in attendance every week and has home churches as well. We really enjoyed ministering in the church and four people gave their life to Jesus too. We are looking forward to visiting them more in the future.

This coming Sunday, we will be ministering in the church in Khon Kaen church, which is a blessing too. They have around 100 members and mostly young people. I like ministering to the younger generation, makes me feel younger!  Haha.

Things are still going great here in Prakhonchai.  Souls are being saved, people are being healed and set free each week.  We are still ministering here every other week.  Annie is teaching the women leaders and I am teaching the men right now. The new building is coming along a little at a time.  Right now the radio has been shut down temporarily because of the coup in Thailand and we are under martial law at the present time. The army came by and checked all of our credentials and everything is in order but all radio stations must wait until they give us the permission to broadcast again.

Please continue to pray for Thailand as I have already mentioned they are under martial law at the present. But this is not a bad thing for the country and actually things have gotten better. They are getting rid of much of the corruption that was going on from the previous government leaders.   Just pray for everything will move along smoothly and Thailand will be able to return to a true democracy in the future.
Please continue to pray for our strength, energy and health. We already have plans to visit Vietnam and India this year but we do not know the exact dates yet. But please pray for us to walk in God's will and pray for our provision as well.

Okay thanks again for all your prayers and financial support.  You all are such a blessing and we need all of you for us to fulfill God's purposes here in Thailand
God bless you all and we love you!

April Update 2014

Greetings Everyone from Thailand!

We made it home safe and sound on the 23rd of April and now we trying to adapt to the time change and get rid of our jet lag.  I think it takes longer when you get older.  Haha.  It feels good to be back home and sleeping in our own bed for a change but we do miss everyone there in America!

We had a great time visiting all the churches, our friends and family.  God was so good to us everywhere we went.  God used us to bless many people and we were blessed by many in return!  God also kept us safe and healthy for the whole trip.  Thank you all for your prayers, God has answered them.

Everything here in Thailand is going great and God is has continued to move in the church.  People have continued to get saved during the time we were in America and we saw a lot of new faces Sunday.  In our first service since we have been back, four people gave their lives to Jesus and the week before we came back two people were saved via the radio station.  We have a wedding next weekend and hopefully by then we will be over our jet lag and we will be making our way to visit some of the other churches we have been ministering in.  The new building is coming along a little at a time.  Praise God!

Annie and I are excited about what God is going to do this coming year and next year!  I believe it is going to be a very busy and productive time of ministry.  God is up to something big here in Thailand and many other places in SE Asia.  Please pray with us as we seek God’s direction and leading for our ministry over the next few years.

I want to thank every church and every individual who sowed into our ministry while we were there in America.  God blessed us and our offerings covered all of our expenses.  You all are such a blessing to us.

Annie and I give a big thanks to those who support us faithfully every month because through all of you, we can do what we do and go where we go.  And if there is church or anyone else who would like to start supporting us on a monthly basis please let me know.  We will need to increase our support base to do all of the things that we believe God is calling us to do.

Thanks again to everyone, we love you all!
