July Update 2016

Greetings everyone in the name of Jesus !

Praise God in all things!  We are moved to Khon Kaen and are presently unpacking our stuff and Annie is decorating the house already.  Please pray for our energy because this has been pretty stressful and tiring for a couple of old people like us.  Haha.   We are going to be finished with everything just in time to get ready to minister in church camp on the 23-24 of this month.   Annie and I are truly excited about this move and what God is going to do through us this next few years.  It is sad to close the previous chapter of life but at the same time it is exciting to go on to the new chapter.  We know that God has a great plan for us because in 3 months we will celebrate 20 years of ministry here in Thailand.  It is very interesting at this anniversary God has brought us full circle right back where we started from.   We are looking forward to being settled and back to focusing on Gods will and plan for us. Amen?

In this transitioning time we have been ministering at the same time and God is doing awesome things.  We had a great service in Tap Kwang this month and we are looking forward to the 23-24 of July because we will be doing a revival service for another church there in Saraburi. Please keep us in prayer that God will move among  His people many people will be saved, healed and delivered.

Here in Khon Kaen we had a great time of ministry last month with the church and the teenagers here.  We ministered on Friday night and Sunday two services.  Annie taught the First service and I Preached the second service.  God moved during the altar call and ministered to many of the kids.  God is good!

June Update 2016

Greetings everyone in the name of Jesus! 

Thanks to everyone for your support and prayers.  God is so good to us and we are so privileged to be His servants. We are still in the process of trying to move to Khon Kaen so keep us in prayers.  We are praying we will be moved and back on a normal schedule by the end of June.  Then hopefully I will get my updates out on time.  Hahaha.

Annie and I ministered in the revival services in Saraburi the second weekend of May and God moved mightily among His people.  We had four churches come together for the services with over 100 in attendance.  Annie taught the first service and then I preached the next two services.  We had four people give their lives to Jesus, many people were healed and many were delivered from bondage their lives.  God is good!  Please pray for us because another church has invited us back for another revival service on 23-24 of July.  Please pray that God will move mightily once again.

In Khon Kaen this month we ministered to the young people and the church on Sunday.  God also moved and touched many during the altar call.  Please pray for this church and these young kids, they are constantly facing all kinds of temptations every day of their life.  Many of them are called to the ministry and have dedicated their lives to serving God.  Pray for us that we can always hear the Holy Spirit to teach the things they need to strengthen them in their walk and prepare them for their future.  Pray for the young pastors that are taking care of them on a daily basis to have the wisdom no knowledge to deal with all the issues they face everyday.   Many of you know what it is like to take care of one teenager but they have 23 teenagers to take care of all at one time. So they need our prayers.

Pray for Annie and I that we will have strength and energy to get through this move and for God to continue to direct us in all that we do.  Thank all of you for your prayers and support, we know we could not do what we do without you.  We pray for you every day that God will meet all of  your needs.  May god bless you all!

April Update 2016

 Greetings everyone in the name of Jesus!

Sorry for getting this update out late.  Last month was a busy month and we were going all the time.  We have been doing our regular rounds to Khon Kaen and Saraburi with a trip to Malaysia in-between.  Annie and I have been praying for a while and have decided to make a major transition in our lives.  We are moving!  Our work here in Prakhonchai has come to an end and we will be releasing everything to God and moving on.  We are going to move to Khon Kaen, a bigger city and capital of the province.  Annie and I are getting older now and we will have more conveniences and better medical care and facilities in the same city with us.  We have been praying about this for some time and think that now is the time to move.  We will be closer to the church we have been working with there and it is the same distance from the church in Saraburi.  Also, we feel there will be other opportunities to minister there as well. So we will need a lot of prayer during this transition.  As always in a move there is a lot of stress, more costs (rent is higher in a big city), energy and patience needed.  So keep us in prayer during this next month or two.  We have found a rent house already and it is in a very secure area and close to a exercise park.  Of course the rent is higher than we wanted to pay, but we know the Lord will provide.  Thanks in advance to everyone!

Saraburi church is doing great and we had a great time there last month.  God moved and people are being changed.  This coming weekend we are have revival services there on Sunday, two in the morning and one in the afternoon.  There will be 4 churches coming together and we are believing God will show up and people will be touched and changed!  Amen!  Please pray for this event.

Lamp of Khon Kaen Church is going great and God continues to move every time we minister there.  The kids home are doing great too and most of them are home visiting their families during the school break.  The presently have around 23 kids in there home that they take care of and all of them have sponsors except for two.  If God should lay on your heart to help sponsor one of these kids, please let me know.  They need about $50.00 USD a month for all their expenses.  Send me a private message if you are interested.

We visited our spiritual children and their family in Malaysia.  It was an awesome time to see the fruit from our last visit.  We got to see the miracle baby from the family who could not have babies.  God answers prayer.  We did a lot of time praying over their business and family as well.  We visited the Chinese church there and worshiped with them.  All in all it was a refreshing and great trip. Please keep this family in prayer and also pray for their business to be prosperous.

March Update 2016

Greetings Everyone!

Praise God for all He has done and doing through our ministry!  God is so good to Annie and I and has given us the privilege to serve him here in Thailand and Southeast Asia. 

New Life Church in Saraburi is doing great and they are growing one at a time. Last month we had one soul saved and she is coming to church faithfully every Sunday.  God blessed us with our spiritual son from the Philippines being able to visit Thailand through his work.  While he was here he was able to come and preach last Sunday!  The people loved him!  Annie taught the Word, Lito preached and I translated!  What a team!  God moved amoung the people and now we are trying to get a team from the Philippines to come and minister here in Saraburi and Khon Kaen.  Please keep this in prayer!  The young people in the Philippines are already saving their money.  Hallelujah!

Lamp of Khon Kaen Church is moving along great too!  God is moving in a great way there with the members and the young people in the Timothy home there.  Last month the Holy Spirit moved among us on Sunday and many were touched by God.  The kids are on school break this month and some of them have stayed over to work on the new facilities for lodging.  They are trying to finish before school starts up again in May.  Please pray they will be able to get it all finished so they can all have a place to stay!  Amen!

Next month, April 11-18, Annie and I will be going to Malaysia to visit a family we met there 2 years ago.  It is the family of one of our spiritual daughters.  Last time we visited to attend their wedding and also to meet their family.  We did not go to minister and God used us in so many ways.  We had a salvation in their family with one of the son in laws, we prayed for one sister who could not have babies and she now has a baby, and we saw the family restored in their faith with God!  So we are going back this year and see all our fruit and also see what God would have in store for us this year!  Everywhere we go, whether for fun or work, God always does something to surprise us and show us He is the director of our lives!  Amen!  Please keep us in prayer during this time for protection and provision as we travel.

February Update 2016

Greetings everyone!  

 

We pray God is blessing you over and above all your needs.  We truly do appreciate all of your support and prayers for our ministry here in Southeast Asia. It is such a privilege to be able to minister here and be a servant of God. We are blessed with a great responsibility and know that we could not be here without you.  We appreciate and thank God for everyone of you!

While things are going crazy in the world, God is moving all over Southeast Asia. I want to bless all of you with a report I received from our contact in Vietnam.  This is just one Christian group a that we know and visit.  

 

Here is his report:  

  In October 2015: We had 408 new converts,made disciple 1307 people.

  In November 2015:  We had 471 new converts,made disciple 1411 people. 

  One cell group.

  In December 2015: We had 789 new converts,made disciple 1504 people.

  We preached among persecutions so please pray for us. May God bless you.

Praise the Lord, for this encouraging report along with what God is doing here in Thailand. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers. 

In Khon Kaen at Lamp of Khon Kaen Church God moved in a great way last month.  We ministered to the youth and church from Friday to Sunday.  All of these young people are on fire and hungry for more of Jesus.  Please keep them in prayer because this month is a difficult month for them because all of their financial support ceased last month. They need God to provide and help them until the school break next month. When the new school term starts they will be receiving support from the families of the kids.  Also, during  term break they will finish building the new building for their housing. If anyone feels led by God to help them with a special offering please let me know or send it in through our normal channels but designate it for Kid's Home Thailand.  We will be there this week ministering again so keep us in prayer. 

At New Life Church Tap Kwang, God is moving as well. It has always been a blessing and a privilege for Annie and I to be able to minister in the small churches here in Thailand.  This small church is growing slowly but surely over the last 2 years.  This last Sunday morning we had one visitor and she gave her life to God and received Jesus as her savior and Lord!  Praise God!  Maybe in a big church, one person getting saved may not be a big deal but in a church like this and you have one visitor and that person gets saved it is a big deal.  Lol. And it is a big deal in heaven too!  Please continue to pray for this small church and for us as we continue to minister there every month.`

Annie and I have been invited to a missionary retreat at Thessaloniki, Greece during the month of October!  It is a ministry that reaches out to missionaries and looks like a great opportunity.  The ministry will pay for hotel and all expenses after arrival but we are obligated to pay for our travel to get there.  I have checked on airline tickets from Bangkok to Thessaloniki and it cost around $3,000 for both of us. Out of our 25 years or more of ministry, we have never been on a retreat just for missionaries and we would love to go.  Of course just the airfare is a major expense for us and we were wondering if anyone out there would like to bless us and help us go on this trip?  Just let me know if you are interested and we can work out the details.

January Update 2016

Greetings everyone and we pray your being blessed in this New Year! 

God has been blessing us as we reach out and minister in the church in Saraburi and also in Khon Kaen.  God is moving in both areas in a great way.  We are seeing God’s Hand upon us already this year and are bearing much fruit in both places.  I believe 2016 is going to be a great year for us here in Thailand. 

We just completed 44 years of marriage this month and this year in October will be our 20th anniversary for ministry here in Thailand.  So, we are excited about what God is going to do this year.

The church in Saraburi, New Life Church, Tap Kwang is a small church but all the members are hungry for God and are growing in the Spirit more and more every month.  Most of the churches in this province are small and some do not even have a pastor.  We are praying and believing that we can have a combined meeting with about 4 - 6 churches at least 3 or 4 times a year.  Then we will be able to reach out to more churches and their members.  Please pray for this to come to pass this year.

The church in Khon Kaen, another  province to the north of us is doing good and we are enjoying ministering there.  The congregation is mostly made up  of teenagers and a few adults.  (Keeps us Young)  Haha.  We also have had an opportunity to minister in the homes there for teenagers.  They are presently going through some hard times for the supporting of the homes and the organization that was supporting the homes decided to close the boys home.  Praise God the pastors of the church were the house parents of the boys home and have decided to keep the home open but move it to the church.  The guardians of all the boys have made a commitment  to start supporting them when school opens up next term in May.  Please pray for them right now because with the support not coming from the old organization they need a miracle from God to supply for the needs till the end of this term in March.  Also, they have a building almost completed now for the kids to stay in but will be finishing it over the school break.  Thank God for COTRGT and Pastor Ron Hammonds for an offering to help finish the building!  Please pray that they can get through this short time of difficulty and into the next term then all should be going smoothly by then.  If anyone while praying feels led to give an offering to help them this month, please let me know or give through our normal way of giving just mark the offering as Thailand Boy’s Home!  I am sure the offering will be appreciated and you will be blessed by sowing into good soil.  Amen?



Annie and I are still praying and looking for opportunities to reach out to other nations.  We are asking God to open new doors and new contacts through out Asia and the World.  Please pray with us in this area!
