July Update 2017

Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

Last month was a good month of visiting the churches.  God blessed us to be a blessing at each one.  God is doing great things in each church and they are getting stronger by the month.

We enjoyed our time with New Life Church in Tap Kwang, Saraburi. Good news as last month they had two new people give their lives to Jesus!  Amen?  God is good!

Then we had good meetings with the kids here in Khon Kaen Friday and then the Sunday morning service.  God blessed us all by His presence and Word.  We were able to take the Pastor and family out for dinner and have some fellowship with them as well.

As always we had a great time ministering in Thai Church Buriram.  We had a great service with Annie and I both preaching on Sunday morning and lots of fellowship in the evening.  Praise God!

Well, it is getting close to our trip to Germany next month to officiate a Christian wedding for our Son.  They are getting everything scheduled and set up and we are getting very excited about this trip.  Our Daughter will be there from America too which will be there first time we have all been together at once in over 15 years.  Please pray for our safety as we travel and spend time with our Children.

Pray for us this month as we will be surveying another church who has asked us to help them.  They are about a 3 hours drive from us as well.  We will be visiting them and ministering the last weekend of this month.  Please pray for us to know God’s will for us and our relationship with this church.  Amen?

Please Pray for the last Week of September and first weekend of October because we have a team coming from Texas to do a pastor’s conference in Chiang Rai and then a church meeting with our churches in Buriram.  We will be inviting the other churches we minister in to come together for this event.  Please pray for the team’s safety, provision and anointing as they come.  Pray for the churches here to come together and be blessed as well.

Thank you once again to everyone who prays for us and supports us on a monthly basis. I was praying this month and was thinking about all of you who support us financially.  I was so thankful and grateful for every one of you.  We are able to go and minister in these small churches who cannot afford to have guest speakers every month.  We are able to pay for our own way, our own lodging and food every month.  We are able many times to give them offerings to help them with different projects. Because of you we are blessed to be a blessing to every church we minister in each month.  May God bless you all for your faithfulness and partnering with us.  Without you we could not do the things we do!  Thank you!

We love you!

June Update 2017

Greetings to everyone in the Name of Jesus!

We had fun this last month at New Life Church Tap Kwang in Saraburi.  On Saturday we had time to be with the Pastor and encourage her in her service to the Lord.

Then on Sunday morning, Annie taught the first hour with a powerful word and then during the worship, joy broke loose and Annie was leading them in a dance for the Lord!  Haha.  Afterwards I preached and God moved among the people.

At Lamp of Khon Kaen Church we had the privilege of ministering to the youth on Friday night.  I taught them about being a leader in the Kingdom of God.  Then afterwards they had a belated birthday cake for Annie.

Then on Sunday morning, Annie preached a powerful word again.  It was a fun time in the Lord and God move on the hearts of the people.

Then at Thai Church Buriram, God also moved again.  We had a great time of fellowship with the worship team on Saturday night and then with the church on Sunday evening.  Annie taught the first round on Sunday morning and then I preached about God is love.  It was a wonderful time of ministry through the whole two days!

Another small new church is inviting us to add them to our monthly schedule.  Once again the pastors are young and wanting us to help them in developing their church. We would love to add it but we want to make sure it is God's will first.  We have only one weekend available and would give us a full schedule.  It also is about a 3 hour drive from us to the north. Please pray for us to make the right decision.

Please pray for Thailand right now, especially for our area in the Northeast.  The Thai culture is one that seeks authority, power and control.  They like it and the average Thai will strive all their life to fulfill this desire.  Unfortunately this desire is coming into some of the churches here and after they start getting bigger and more successful, the pastors will start using the wrong kind of power, abusing the authority of God and controlling their leaders and members. Some of them are beginning to control their people by using the gifts of the Spirit falsely (controlling them by prophesy, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, etc.).   Of course this kind of control goes along with the culture and religion of the country already, and many are being deceived and driven by these pastors.  Many stay and are afraid to leave and go any where because they think this is God, but some leaders and members  are now saying enough is enough and are waking up and leaving these churches.  Thank God for a few new pastors and leaders who are going out and starting new churches that are taking in the hurting victims of the abusive churches.  These churches are small right now and are full of leaders and members who have been hurt by their old church.  Pray for Annie and I, because many of them are calling us and wanting us to mentor, counsel and help them to minister to them and their people.  I believe this is a new direction that God is leading Annie and I to help but we must be selective and hear the Holy Spirit before we go and help them.  Amen?

As I was praying the other day about our ministry and thanking God for the calling upon our life. I love the churches we are presently ministering in and helping them when no one else will. They too have persecution like any other churches from the non believers and even some of the other churches in their areas.  They all receive us with open hearts and so much appreciation towards us.  We truly have grown to love them and are happy to continue to encourage, disciple and minister to them as long as God gives us the energy and  strength to do so. Amen?

Please pray about a team that is preparing to visit us the last week of September.  I want to try and get the three churches to come together for a church camp.  Also they will be doing a pastors conference in Bangkok. So pray for us and the team to hear and follow the will of God for their time here with us.

It won't be long and we will be in Germany to visit our son.  We will be leaving Thailand on 23 August and returning on 11 September.  Please pray for us and this trip for our protection as we travel there and back.  Also, I will be doing a Christian wedding for my son and daughter in love while we are there.  Our daughter from America will be joining us too, so it's going to be a lot of fun for sure.  We have not been together as a family for more than 15 years.  So we will be having a small family reunion at the same time. We are truly looking forward to it.

Our dear brother in Christ will be getting married in Tanzania in October. Annie and I would love to go but if we do God will have to provide.  So, we have prayed and put it into the hand of God that if He wants us to go, He will make a way.    Please pray and agree with us!  Then we will just wait and see what God says!  Amen?

Thanks so much to all of you who support us and pray for us every month because it enables us to reach out and minister by paying our own way and being nothing but a blessing to these small churches.  I love being a blessing and not a burden!  Amen?

God bless you all and we love you!

Ralph & Annie

May Update 2017

Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

Thank you for all of your faithful prayers. We made it through the Thai New Year celebrations safe and sound. Of course we didn’t go anywhere for that period of time.  Haha.  We did take a taxi to the mall one day and we checked on our new sofa we had ordered.  We met a new girl working there who of course Annie began to witness to.  We found out that many of her family were already Christian and she had been to church before and was interested but had not received Jesus as her savior.  She was very stressed out because she had been involved in a car accident and was afraid she was going to have to pay a lot of money to compensate the other driver even though it was not her fault. Annie continued to minister to her and finally led her in a prayer to believe in Jesus and for God to help her in her situation. Praise God!  We just went back last week and checked up on her and she did not have to pay any extra money and all stress was gone and she said she was even putting on weight!  Haha   Her name is Lay so please say a prayer for her that she will get involved with a local church and continue her walk with God.  Amen?

This last month we celebrated Annie’s birthday at the new Mall in Korat!  We had a great day walking and window shopping, one of Annie’s favorite things to do.

Then on Friday we met up with Pastor Bob from Thai Church Buriram and we traveled to a resort in the mountains for a church camp for the rest of the weekend.  We had a great time with the church and it was a great time of fellowship, fun and ministry.

Saturday everyone arrived and there we had a lot of time for fun.  They mostly swam at the waterfall and Annie and I watched. Then I. The evening we all came together for dinner and another birthday celebration for Annie.

Sunday we had teaching sessions in the morning. We split up into groups.  Annie taught the women, I taught the men and Pastor Bob taught the teenagers. Then after lunch more fun at the waterfall for all the members and Annie and I  rested.

In the evening we came together for an evening service and I preached about following God.  Then Monday morning we all traveled back home.  It was a great time of bonding together and growing in the Lord!

Please pray for us as we are planning a trip to Germany from August 23 to September 11th.  We were going to celebrate our 20th year milestone of being here in Thailand last October but we wound being too busy and then Annie had her gallbladder operation.  But it is all working out for the better now because our son asked me to officiate a Christian wedding for him in Germany.  Our daughter from America will also be coming together with us and this will be the first time we have all been together in about 15 or more years.  So, please pray for our safety during this trip.

Then in October we have a missionary friend who is getting married in Tanzania Africa.  We are hoping that the Lord will provide and we will be able to attend.  Annie and I have always wanted to go to Africa and this would be a great opportunity for us to go and hopefully we could visit some other friends there in Africa.  Please pray for us if this is God's will, He will provide for us to go!  Amen?

Okay thanks to everyone for your prayers and support!

We love and appreciate you all!
Ralph & Annie
