June Update 2020

One of our favorite Great Grandaughters
Greetings in the Name of the Lord!

We pray all is well and God is blessing you through all the things going on in the world.  The signs of end times are upon us for sure.  God help us all to be bold and strong during these times and know that our God is with us.  Amen?

Celebrating!

Annie finished her radiation treatments on the 28th of May!  So far no side effects and she is doing great.  Thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement and love, they have kept us strong through this trying time.  Please keep her in your prayers for no side effects with the medicine she is taking for the next 5 years. The great news though is she is cancer free!  Praise be to God!  The medicine and radiation treatments are to make sure she stays free!  Amen?

Here in Thailand things are starting to open up.  There hasn’t  been any new virus cases for almost a month here. So, many things such as restaurants, malls, etc. are open now. Churches are now allowed to have services as well, Praise God! Social distancing, sanitary measures and wearing a mask are still being enforced.  International flights are still banned as well. Thailand was rated as number two in  world  for their defense against the corona virus and has been successful in controlling it. Glad we live in a country where wearing a mask is not a big deal so we were able to protect each other.

Now that things are back to the new normal, Annie and I are ministering again in two of our churches which are having live meetings again.  We started on the first weekend of this month at Church on the Rock Buriram. It felt so good to be back and see everyone again.  On line services are okay but not like the real thing.  Annie taught the pre service and did a great job and I preached in the main service.  Guess we did pretty good for not preaching or teaching for 3 months.  ðŸ˜‚

Saints on the Rock Foundation is back to reaching out to the community.  They are going out to the village and teaching English to children who might not ever have an opportunity to learn by tutoring.  They have been teaching for about 2 weeks now and have over 20 regular students.  What a blessing that we have a small part in this small foundation with a big heart to reach out and share the love of Jesus.  Please keep the staff and teachers in your prayers and that God will meet all of their needs!

The second weekend we ministered at Chumphae Church.  Again it was great to see everyone and preach the word there.  Annie shared her testimony and I preached.  We had a great time of fellowship as well.  Great to be back to the new normal.

Please keep us in prayer, Annie has a follow up appointment next week and we are believing for a good report.  Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support, we appreciate everyone of you.  We pray everyday that God will bless you all protect you and provide for all of your needs!

We love y’all!

May Update 2020

Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

We pray that you are all safe and sound and God is blessing you during this time of crisis.  Annie and I are doing fine so far and are praying for us and you everyday for God's protection.

Annie is doing good so far with the radiation treatments.  We have finished 11 treatments and have only 9 more to go.  She will be finished on the 28th of May. So far she has not had any side effects and we ask that you all still keep her in prayer for the rest of this month until they are finished.

Here in Thailand, the number of people infected with the virus has been in under 10 every day for a couple of weeks.  There have been a few days where 0 were infected and the ones now reported infected  are Thais who have returned from overseas.  In a country of 70 million people from the beginning of the crisis till yesterday they have had a total of 3025 infected, 2854 cured, 56 have died and only 111 still being treated.

Thailand has done a good job of controlling this situation.  I think one reason there has been very few infected is that it is normal here to wear masks, so when the government made it mandatory the Thai people just followed the law and are still wearing the masks in public. The only ones that were stubborn at first were the foreigners but now they are wearing them as well.

So, praise God, looks like we are on our way out. Thailand is now starting to lift restrictions and open malls and businesses but will still have social distancing in effect.  Annie and I will still not be going out very much and we will wait until all of Annie’s radiation treatments are finished before we do anything.

Saints (Church) on the Rock Foundation in Buriram has started up their English school for the under privileged kids in their village.  They have over 10 kids that come everyday to learn. Thank God for the teachers that God has brought to help in the school. They are all a blessing!

Please keep us in prayer as we pray for all of you.  Pray that we will be able to get back to ministering next month.  The churches are planning in starting to have live services on the 31st of May, so pray that all goes well.  Pray for strength and energy for Annie as well.

God bless everyone and we love y’all!

Ralph and Annie

April Update 2020

Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus!

Time for an update again, but as most of the world right now, we don’t have a lot to update. Haha. But we want you to know that we are praying that God is protecting you and keeping you safe through all of this COVID-19 stuff going on around the world.

Thailand like all the other countries in the world has put in place an emergency decree and the government is putting into place social distancing and stay home laws. We also have a curfew  in place from 10 pm to 4 Am and closed our country to everyone.  No one can enter the country or travel at this time.

So, Annie and I too, are confined to home and not going out for anything except the doctor. We order all of our food from restaurants for lunch and then eat something simple for dinner.  We order our other foods from an online store when we can.  We only go out shopping when it is absolutely necessary.

As of today there are over 2500 people with the virus in the whole country of Thailand at this time. In our city there has been only 6 people infected so far and 4 of them are healed and back home already.  For right now the nation wide numbers of infections are going down every day, only 29 yesterday. So I guess we are doing pretty good in comparison to many other countries. Annie and I pray healing and protection scriptures over us every day and pray for us and all of you as well.  Praying for this too to pass soon.

All the churches that we minister in are live streaming on facebook as well.  Annie and I are encouraging and disciplining the pastors we work with via video chat as well.

I want to give a big shout out to Saints (Church) on the Rock Foundation in Buriram.  They are only a small foundation but they are doing a big work for Jesus. Over the last week or so they have been reaching out to their community by making face shields and and giving them to the local hospitals in their area!  So far they have given out 2000 Face Shields and 1500 face  masks to 10 local hospitals, 1 hotel and 2 companies.  They are presently providing food for anyone who has been affected by the Covid-19 situation and can not afford to buys their own. They are letting their light shine for Jesus!

Thank God for Pastor Bob and the leaders of Saints on the Rock Foundation for having the heart of God to reach out to their community during this time of crisis. Also thanks to all the people who have sowed into the foundation that make all of this possible.

I want you to know we appreciate you so much for your faithful support and prayers during these times of crisis and we are praying fervently for your provision as well.

We love y’all so much and thank you so much.

Ralph and Annie

Just home from the Hospital
Greetings Everyone in the Name Of Jesus!

Well, it has been a little while since I did an update but I finally have got the time to work on it. So here is what has been going on so far since my last update.

Our last time to minister was at COTR Buriram on March 1st and as many of you know by now that right before this Annie discovered a lump in her right breast.  So we went and had a mammogram and ultrasound at one of the private hospitals here.  The breast clinic decided to take a sample of the lump and do a biopsy on it.

We got the results back right before we went to minister at COTR Buriram.  We prayed and many of you were praying for us as well and waiting for the results to come in.  When we went for the results we were expecting with all of our heart the tumor was benign but we were shocked to find out that it was malignant.  I was like what now God and why did it come out this way.  God showed me real quick that this was a miracle from God because we found it so quickly while it was still only 1.5cm at the time.

We immediately went to talk to the surgeon and he encouraged us because it was so small that Annie could keep her breast and most likely would not have to have chemo.  That is when I began to see the Hand of God on everything even to leading us to the surgeon we already knew.

On the 4th of March, Annie had her surgery in the afternoon.  They removed the tumor and some lymph nodes to do another biopsy to see if it had spread or not.  I thank God for our spiritual children from Khon Kaen and Buriram who where there with us trough this ordeal.  They were a true blessing to us and especially me.

Spiritual Grand kids visiting at the Hospital.

Praying for Annie
Annie was supposed to only spend one night in the hospital but do to the side effects of the anesthesia she had to spend an extra night.

On March 12th, we went to have the drain removed from Annie's surgery and afterwards the doctor told us they had the results from the lymph nodes back already.

God is great and awesome!!!!! All glory to God in the highest!

LYMPH NODES ARE BENIGN and everything was contained and taken out wtih the tumor!  Stage one only!

All glory and honor to God!  That night we went back for an appointment with the cancer doctor to determine what treatment Annie would need.  The cancer doctor and recommended hormone treatment for 5 years and radiation.  He is doing the hormone treatment but we will have to go to the government hospital for the radiation treatments .  Many of you were praying for us during this time and we thank you so much.

On March 17, Annie got her bandages off in the morning and then we went to the government hospital to see a radiation doctor and set up appointments for radiation. It took almost all day before we got to the radiation clinic.

The government hospital is a lot like the VA hospital in America, packed with people and takes for ever to get anything done. Thank God for our spiritual kids, Nikom and Luckana, who helped us all day. They did all the running around and all we did was wait. They were truly a blessing to us!

We finally got to see the radiation doctor around 3 in the afternoon and she set us up for the treatments. Annie will go for an ex ray and check up on April 21st and start treatments about two weeks after. She will have 20 treatments all together in succession for 15 minutes at a time. She will start the hormone treatments tomorrow. So that’s the plan so far. Please pray for NO side effects from the hormone pill and the radiation treatments.

After a long day at the Hospitals!
This has been a long and draining process, but we are all set for now and will just be waiting for the treatments.  With all of the COVID-19 closures and restrictions, it actually works out good for us because we can just take off and rest during this time for Annie to be physically strong in May when it is time for the treatments. We are praying for all of you as I know you are praying for us.

We thank everyone so much for their prayers and especially thank those who gave an offering for our medical expenses, the offerings came our exactly to what we needed for Annie’s surgery.  As far as the radiation treatments, we give glory and honor once again to our Almighty God for they will be free!  Annie is Thai, so she will be able to get the treatments with the Thai government program!  Praise God! So the only expense we now have is with the hormone treatments for those pills are expensive around $5.00 a day and we know God will provide!  Amen?

Thanks again to everyone who is and are continuing to pray for us.  We truly appreciate every one of you!

We love you all!
