August Update 2020

 

 

Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

We pray you are all doing well and getting through this COVID situation safe and sound. We pray everyday, protection for all of you and God to bless each and everyone.  Thailand has not had an domestic infection in almost 100 days, thank God!  So Annie and I are doing good and back to a semi-new normal ministry schedule and not only are we still visiting the churches, I am doing some online teaching as well.

The first weekend of August we celebrated the 5th year anniversary of Church on the Rock Buriram.  We had a great service and time of fellowship throughout the day!  God moved among us in the service and the presence of God filled the church.  God bless us all and ministered to everyone.

 

We were able to change our schedule and move Chumphae Church to the 4th weekend and last week we were able to take some time off for a small vacation with some of our Thai family. We went to the mountains for a couple of days and we had a great time other than I learned how old I am getting.  Haha. I like the level ground better at this age.  We spent time site seeing and fellowshipping everyday.  Then we came back and spent a couple of days in Korat with just Annie and I.  We enjoyed the time relaxing and doing some shopping as well.  Praise God for everything.  

Saints on the Rock Foundation is going great with the English school for the village kids.  They are taking a 2 week vacation as well to get some business finished and will start again soon. I still thank God for the team of teachers that God has called to serve and teach.  They are all faithful and committed to reach out with the Love of Jesus.  If anyone after COVID is over would like to come and spend some time helping with the teaching, please contact me and we will see what we can do.  Amen?

Please keep us in prayer during this time for protection and provision as we continue to minister.  Annie is still doing good and I am getting better as well, so  keep praying for us to have good health and strength to minister.

July Update 2020

                           Hello everyone in the Name of Jesus! 

We pray that you are all doing well and God is blessing you!

We are doing fine here in Thailand so far, things here are almost back to normal except for wearing a mask and social distancing.  Up until 2 days ago there were no new domestic infections for over 45 days.  But 2 days ago an Egyptian soldier was not required to quarantine and visited many places in the Southeast and later found out he had the virus.  So we are all now praying that there will not be a second wave here. Please pray with us as well.

As far as ministry, we are getting back to a new normal as well.  Going slow with ministry and are now back to ministering in 2 churches so far.  The first Sunday of the month we had the privilege to minister at Church on the Rock Buriram.  It was a great service and we had one soul added to the Kingdom of God.  Then we had a great time of fellowship with our family there.  The church has been looking at one metric acre of land that is for sell at a very good price.  So please pray for God’s will and provision to be done.

The second Sunday we were at Chumphae Church.  Annie taught and then I preached the main service.  We had another soul added to the Kingdom of God here too!  Praise God, this is a good month.  God blessed us and we had a good time of fellowship after the service.

Saints on the Rock Foundation is going strong in Buriram as well.  They finished the summer session of English classes in the village and have started a new term already.  They have around 20 students who learn everyday which would never be able to afford special classes. Thank God for the team of teachers and the supporters that make this ministry possible.  By the way, after this virus situation is over, if there is anyone who would like to come to Thailand and help teach English, we will welcome you with open arms.

Annie is doing great now and strong as ever.  She only has to go for regular checkups every three months. Now, I ask you pray for me because I have been having some congestion problems that don’t seem to go away. I know God is my healer but could use some additional prayer for my health to get back to normal.  Amen?
