June Update 2022

Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus!

Well, we were finally able to make our trip to visit the orphanage on the 24th of May! Praise God!  It was a long trip but worth every minute. The first day, we traveled from Khon Kaen to Amphoe Mae Sot in Tak Province. From the time we left home till we arrived at our hotel it took us 12 hours to travel around 500 Kilos and visit a doctor to get medicine for my rash.

We had a good night's rest and got up early the second day for the remainder of our trip.  We  traveled from Mae Sot to Uhmpang Amphoe which was only 165 kilos but had 1219 curves so it took us over 5 hours.  Haha. We arrived at our hotel in the afternoon and Praise God we made it without too much pain.  We took a good rest for the night.

On Thursday morning we made the short trip up the mountain to the church and orphanage. We arrived about 11 Am and the children were all waiting for us. There were about 35 children all together ages ranging from 7 to 19.  We were super blessed by all of the children as they all sang different worship songs from each group.

The 3 youngest children were first and as they sang, I almost lost it.  Hahaha. Tears filled my eyes as they sang with power and their voices sounded like professional singers.

They all sang in their different age groups and were a total blessing to us as we enjoyed the program.

After the program it was time for lunch, we provided pizza for all of the kids and the Pastor provided a wonderful lunch for us.

After the lunch we presented the most generous blessing for the needs of the children. They were blessed beyond measure from the generous people that gave offerings.  The pastor was overcome with gratitude and  gave thanks to everyone!  I also thank everyone that made this possible.

When we were ready to leave the rained poured down and we got stuck in the mud for a short time.  Thank God we were able to leave after a short time.  They all took good care of Annie and I while we waited. Amen

On Friday we started the trip back home.  We traveled 9 hours to get to our hotel for the night and then on Saturday we traveled about 5 hours to our home.  We give thanks to God for everything, especially for strengthening us and keeping us safe for the whole trip. Also we give thanks to God for all those who prayed for us as well.

Well, the Covid situation here in Thailand is getting better, finally.  They are about ready to open up Thailand completely which will be great for us.  Then we can travel outside the country without any problems and we are planning a trip back to America next year for an extended visit again so keep this in your prayers.

Please continue to pray for our protection, provision and health.  As we get older every year, we need lots of prayer, and I have also learned how to adapt my methods of ministry to my age.  Annie is still going strong but needs prayer as well.  Thank you all in advance for your prayers and support.

God bless you all and we love you!

May Update 2022

Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

We pray God bless and protect you!  The Covid situation in Thailand is getting better after their big holiday, praise God!  Praying for it to be gone for good!  Amen?

We were able to minister at COTR Buriram on the first Sunday of the month.  We had a great time of ministry and fellowship for the first time in a long while. It was great to see our family again. We celebrated Annie's 70th Birthday again as well.

We had planned to leave to visit the Orphanage in the mountains on May 16, but we had to postpone the trip for now.  The week before we were to leave, Pastor Bob’s wife found out she was pregnant but it was an ectopic pregnancy( sac outside of the uterus). She spent 8 days in the hospital for treatment with a new medicine to remove the sac. She was released on the 16th and was doing fine for a while so we planned to leave again on the 23rd which is Monday. Now she is having problems again as of yesterday and we need all of your prayers that she will get back to normal soon. Amen?  We need a miracle and a complete healing for her and also pray four our trip to the orphanage because we need to make the trip before the rainy season because the road washes out. So we are needing two miracles, complete healing for Tip (Pastor Bob’s wife) and we can make our trip. Thanks in advance!

We were able to minister again at COTR Buriram again last Sunday to help Pastor Bob while his wife was in the Hospital.  Annie taught and I preached  the main service. God blessed us all!

Okay thanks for all of your support and prayers and hoping we will have a good report next month of our trip to the orphanage.  God bless you all and thank you for everything!

We love y’all!

Ralph and Annie
