October Update 2017

                           Greetings to every one in the Name of Jesus!

I am a little late on getting our update out this month because we have been under the weather with the flu of some kind the last week or so.  We are back to being healthy again and doing great.  We just had our scheduled blood work done yesterday and good results for Annie, no changes.  My results weren’t as good but not to bad either.  As you all know I turned 70 last month so guess I got some of the benefits of being old as well.  My sugar levels have slowly gone up over the last few years and have now reached the level of needing medicine to help, my blood pressure is running high as well so a pill to help that was prescribed and my cholesterol levels need a little help too. So prayers in this area would be appreciated as we try and control the eating habits to better health.  Amen?

We got back from Germany last month and rested for about 2 weeks then we ministered first at Lamp of Khon Kaen Church here at home.  God blessed and moved among us as we ministered to the kids here.

Then the next weekend we had a Celebrate Freedom Conference at the Thai Buriram Church on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  A team from Freedom Fellowship International in Waxahachie, Texas came and ministered to the churches.  We had 4 churches come together with about 100 people throughout the seminar.  God used the team and anointed them to be a great blessing to the churches and to us as well.  God moved by His Holy Spirit and changed many lives and 4 people received Jesus into their hearts for the first time.  Thank you for your prayers and thanks to the team, they were great!

We ministered to New Life Church, Tap Kwang, Saraburi last weekend.  First time we have been back here for almost 2 months.  The church is doing great and and it was great to be back with them.  God ministered to all of them through the Word of God.

Please pray for us because starting next month we will be changing our schedule around to be able to minister at the church in Nong Khai along the border of Laos.  This is a new church plant and has around 10-15 members already.  The name of the church is Church on the Rock (Of Life).  We will be alternating months with this church and the church in Saraburi. We are excited about helping these young pastors to build and develop their new church.  Please pray for us and then that God will bring increase and meet all of their needs.  Amen?

September Update 2017

                     Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus!

Well, we are back from our trip to Germany!  What a great time we had from a family reunion. Thank you for your prayers, the flights were great (except for the little seats, getting older seems to make a difference) and the weather was super good (not too cold, not too hot) the whole time we were there. It was so good to be able to spend a lot of time with our son and daughter together which we have not done in over 15 years. 

We did a lot of site seeing and what a beautiful country.  I love all of the Christian heritage and the big churches that were built hundreds of years ago. Seems like we walked until I couldn't walk any more.  Haha

While we were there it was a privilege to be able to officiate the wedding of my son and his new wife.  It was held in a small chapel on top of a mountain with an awesome view.  God was there and blessed the whole wedding and reception. I cannot express in words how blessed I was and got through the whole wedding without crying!  haha (not too much anyways).  What a great honor a privilege.

We also were able to spend time with our daughter in love’s family and building relationship with them as well.  They are a beautiful family and we have grown to love them too.  We had a wonderful time of creating memories to last forever!  All I can say now is Wow and we are ready to do it again real soon!

Back here in Thailand and the churches here are all doing great!  The church in Buriram and Nong Khai are growing.  Yea, Praise God!  We are trying to get back on track with the time and get over our jet lag to get back to ministering.  This coming weekend we are here in Khon Kaen with Lamp of Khon Kaen Church on Friday night and Sunday morning. Then we should be ready for the last weekend of this month where we will be having a seminar at Thai Buriram Church Sept 29 - Oct 1.  A team from Freedom Fellowship International in Waxahachie, Texas will be ministering and there will be 4 churches coming together for this seminar.  Please keep this weekend in prayer, we are praying that God will do great things.

After the seminar, we will be getting back to our normal monthly schedule. We are praying about making a few changes and adding another church so please pray for us that we will make the right decisions and here from God as we do this.
