February Update 2018

 

                   Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus!

I just found out that the donate button on my blog site is not working. I apologize to those who give through this method.  We are trying to get it fixed but may take a while. We had a great time at LoKK Church on the last weekend of January.  I was able to teach the kids in the morning and then Annie preached in the morning service.  We thank God fo all He has done and for the opportunity to minister to these young people.  It has been as great blessing to us.

 

In February we began the month at Thai Buriram Church.  The new church building is almost completely finished, just the floor tile which we are doing as I write this update.  Thank you Lauren Clark for your donation to do the finishing touches!  You are a blessing! We had a great service and GOD’s anointing filled the new building.  God is truly blessing this small church.

 

We visited a new church in Surin province on the third Sunday.  I say a new church but many of the members are spiritual grandchildren who we have known since they were kids and  have not seen for a couple of years.  We had a great time sharing the word and a super time of fellowship that afternoon.  We will be visiting this church periodically throughout the year. 

We are considering helping another church every month about 1 hour drive from us in Chum Pae.   We will be ministering there the second weekend of next month and doing a church camp for their organization on the first weekend of  April with 5 churches attending.  Please pray for us to be a blessing and to follow God’s will. 

Please pray for our trip to Malaysia from April 9-23.   We will be visiting our spiritual children there and doing a little bit of site seeing as well.  I am praying we will be able to make a contact with some churches there as well.  So prayers are needed for our travel, provision, direction and for the will of God to be done in every thing we do.

January Update 2018

 

 

 

Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus! 

We pray that you are having a blessed New Year already and that God will prosper you all throughout this year!  Amen!  I apologize for being so late with this update.  I was sick for a week with a stomach virus or bad food and then this last week have had a bad case of the flu!  Feeling much better today, so getting this our while I can.

 

We finished year 2017 with Christmas Service at Lamp Of Khon Kaen Church and had a great service and lots of fun!  I preached on the mystery and miracle of Jesus and we got two miracles, two souls received Jesus as their Lord. A long time member’s husband, whom the pastor had been witnessing to for over 8 years, came forward during the altar call to pray and receive Jesus!  Hallelujah!  God is so good!

 

 

The first Sunday of the year we celebrated at Thai Buriram Church.  As I said in my last update we are building a new church and it was supposed to be finished but it wasn’t ready.  So, we decided to have church in one of the member’s house instead and had a great service there.   Amen?

God is so awesome!  Annie and I celebrated our 46th anniversary on the 15th of January and on the 20th of January I had the privilege of officiating the wedding of one of our spiritual granddaughters.   We have known her since she was around 10 years old.   The wedding was huge and beautiful and attended by hundreds of people who did not know God.  I was able to lift the Name of Jesus and sow many seeds about our Creator God who created everything including marriage between a man and a woman. To God be the Glory!

 

On the 21st of January we were back at Thai Buriram Church for the dedication of the new building!  God is good!  What a miracle from the notice of the landlord about raising the rent to one month later, a new building was built and now occupied with this small church!  We celebrated with joy for the things God has done!  Thank you to those who helped make this happen!

We have cancelled our trip to the Philippines and will be going to Malaysia instead.  So keep us in prayer.  We most likely will not be making a trip to America this year as well, maybe next year.  We miss all of you but travel is getting so expensive and we have a lot going on this year with the startup churches and trying to get them on their feet!  Amen.

Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers and support!  You are all such a blessing to us!  Please keep us in prayer for good health, strength and energy to serve Him.  Pray for our direction for we have new opportunities popping up all the time and we want to be in God’s perfect will as we serve Him.
