August Update 2024

 

                  Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

 

Thanks to everybody for your prayers last month while we were on vacation and having a reunion with our children.  We are back home now safe and sound.  We had a wonderful time while we were there.  We didn’t get to do a lot of site seeing because of the weather but we had a lot of great fellowship and catching up with our kids. Thanks again for all your prayers because God answered them.

We got back just in time to be able to celebrate with COTR BURIRAM’S 10 year anniversary service. We had a great service and fellowship. God is good!  Annie taught pre service and I preached the main message. Then we had a feast afterwards with everyone. Great time in the Lord!

Well the new church building is almost finished. Around $5,000.00 is still needed to completely be finished so everyone still has a chance to be a part of the blessing. If anyone would like to give an offering and be blessed, please let me know and I will give you instructions on how to give. God bless.

Please pray for Annie and I, it is time for our annual check up the first of next month.  Annie will be having a mammogram, X-rays, and sonogram done and I will have my check up too. So please pray for good results all around. Amen?

JUNE UPDATE 2024

 

                     Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

Well, I am sending out our update a little bit late this month. The good news this month is that Annie and I had our 4 month check up on the 12th and our results were super great. We were so happy but after we got home for a while, Annie started running a fever.  I took out the COVID tester and sure enough Annie tested positive. Later on in the afternoon Annie’s fever kept going up and down, till finally we decided to go to the hospital and get checked out. They admitted her and gave her an IV, and within a few hours her fever broke, Praise God! We stayed the night and went home the next day. When we got home, I decided to check myself just to see and guess what, I tested positive.  Oh my, so we rushed back to the hospital and I got Covid medicine and we returned home. Here we are 5 days later and feeling much better. Annie tested negative yesterday and I am believing that I will test negative today. Amen?  Thanks to all of you who have already been praying for us, God is answering them.

Please keep us in prayer for a total recovery and be strengthened in our bodies because we are leaving on the 30th to have a family reunion with our children in Germany.  We have a lot to do to get ready and a lot of packing to do, so we need all the strength and energy we can get this week. Please pray for our travel protection, health and  strength as we go.

This month we were able to minister at the Lamp of Khon Kaen Church and we had a great time with the Lord touching everyone and we had great fellowship after the service. Annie taught the pre service and I preached the main service. God is good!

We had to skip going to COTR Buriram this month because of Covid but we have been in touch. The church has made great steps and is a miracle to be almost halfway finished. As you can see by the pictures, it is going to be a beautiful church when finished. Everyone will know exactly what this building is when it is finished. Right now everything is at a standstill because the finances have run out for now.  Just waiting on the next step to be supported and the work will continue. Right now the next step is the ceiling and will cost about 2,000 USD to finish this step. Anybody want to help? It would surely would be appreciated! If you do want to help, just contact me by email or fb messenger and I can instruct you on how to give. God is Good all the time!

Okay that is all for now and I won’t be doing another update until August because we will be in Germany for 3 weeks of July. Please keep us in prayers for safe travels and protection as we are able to see our children again.  It is well past due as we haven’t seen our son and family in over 7 years and our daughter and family in almost 5 years. I will be posting on Facebook if you want to follow us and see all our vacation there.  Amen?

MAY UPDATE 2024

 

COTR BURIRAM

Greetings Everyone in the Name of Jesus!

THE VISION

This month has been an exciting month for us already.  We visited COTR Buriram this last weekend and It was wonderful to see this miracle of God manifesting before our eyes. A few months ago, the plan was to start out by laying the posts and then doing a little at a time as the finances came in.  Well, the finances came from all different directions and here we are almost half finished with the whole building. Praise God in the highest!  All that is needed to finish the whole building is around $12,000 USD. Wow, God is good!  Please pray with us for we are asking God if it can be finished by August, which is the 10th year anniversary of the church. Annie and I are wanting to be here when we dedicate it to the Lord before we go to America for a furlough in October or November.  So, If you would like to participate in this great miracle of God, please let me know and I will give you directions how to give. You will be blessed, I guarantee it!

We also ministered in the church for Sunday worship service.  Annie taught before service and I preached the main service. It was so good to see everyone as it has been almost 3 months since we were here last. God blessed us all during the service and they had a belated birthday celebration for Annie. What a wonderful day in the Lord!

As for Annie and I we have a lot of things coming up towards the end of the year, so keep us in prayer.  In July, we will be going to Germany to visit our Son and family, our daughter and her husband from America will be joining us also. Pray for our travels and protection.

Then as I mentioned Annie and  are planning on taking a furlough to America leaving here sometime in October or early November. We will be staying somewhere between 6-12 months. This will be the first time we have had a full furlough to America since we have been in Thailand (28 years).  Haha. Also, only the second time we have been back for the holidays. So please keep us in prayer for all that is involved in making this happen.  Amen?
