April Update 2022

Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

We pray all of you are staying safe and God is blessing you in every way!  Annie and I are doing fine so far with the Covid situation here getting worse at the present time.  We had to cancel last months trip to COTR Buriram because some of the members had Covid and they are presently having online services again.   This week is the Thai New Year, which is one of the biggest holidays of the year, so I am sure there will be another spike in infections during this time.  We are praying it will clear up before the end of the month so we can minister again. Amen?

We are still planning on visiting the orphanage in the mountains the first week of May. God willing we will be able to make that trip because we want to be able to bless them in person. Thank you to those who have already given!  Many others have said they would like to help as well.  If you are interested and still want to help, can I ask for a favor?  Can you submit your offering and have them get to COTRGT Beaumont before the 26th of April?  That way we can transfer the money and have it ready when we make the trip in May. Thanks so much!

Thank you all so much for your support and prayers.  God is answering many of them. Annie and I had all of our health check ups last month and all is good!  Thank God for good health!  Please continue to pray for our provision, health and protection.  May God continue to protect and bless you all as well.

We love y’all!

Ralph and Annie

March Update 2022

Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus!

We pray God is blessing you all and meeting all of your needs during these critical days and times.  Here in Thailand, things as far as covid are still spreading quickly and most likely going to get worse next month during the Thai New Year celebrations.  The church here in Khon Kaen where we usually minister, just recently had some people get infected and are presently not having services while they quarantine.  So far COTR Buriram is doing good and we are trying our best to minister there at least once a month.  Please keep us and the churches here in prayer for protection so we can keep having live services.

Thank God during the month of February we were able to minister at COTR Buriram and God blessed us and the members during the service.  Annie taught before the service and I preached the main service.  God blessed us with His presence and everyone was encouraged and challenged to be a disciple of Christ, not just a normal Christian,  Amen?  Please pray that God will make a way and we will be able to go there and minister this month as well.

There is an orphanage up in the mountains close to Burma where Pastor Bob’s wife is from.  The orphanage is run and managed by a Pastor and his wife, who was an orphan as a child. They presently do not have any outside support to help them but are supported by the church only. There are about 40 children from the Karen tribes of Burma and all of these children have lost their parents in the War going on in Burma.  They are children without a country because Thailand does not recognize them as citizens nor does Burma.  The pastor and his wife take them in, teach them in the way of the Lord, send them to school and try to get them Thai citizenship. Many of these children grow up and serve God in their future.  During Covid, they have had to struggle to meet their needs and totally depend upon God to provide month by month. After hearing their story, Annie and I want to bless them with supplies and hopefully a monetary blessing as well. So we have planned a trip to take supplies and visit the orphanage the first week of May.  If anyone would like to help us be a blessing, we would appreciate it and make sure all of the finances go to supplies and a special offering to meet the needs of the orphanage.  If you are interested, please let me know and I will give instructions on how to give or if you already have our information you can give an offering to us with a designation or memo to Thailand Orphanage Project.  Thanks so much for your prayers and consideration for us to be a blessing.

Okay, a big thank you to everyone who prays and supports us every month.  We appreciate each and every one of you!  We pray for you everyday that God will bless you for your time and giving with at least a hundred fold return!  We could never do what we do without you and we do not take that for granted!  So God bless you all and meet all your needs and give you the desires of your heart!

We love y’all !

Ralph and Annie

February Update 2022

Happy Valentines date with my forever Valentine!

Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus and Happy Valentines Day!

We pray that all is going well for you and God is blessing you over and above this year!  We are doing better so far here in Thailand.  Covid is still an issue here but they are starting to open up more and more.  It is still a hassle to travel in and out of the country but as least it can be done if need be. Travel within the country too has opened up as well but still have to take precautions.  Hopefully the world will open up more and more this year as well.  Amen?

Last month we were able to visit Buriram and our family there at COTR Buriram. We ministered on Sunday and had a great service.  Annie taught the first session and I preached in the main service.  God is still doing great things with this small church. They are making a difference in other nations as well, through the Saints on the Rock Foundation they are reaching out to Nepal and also to a ministry in Pattaya. The first building project has been completed through many miracles of God that during the Covid crisis all this could be done. We praise God and give Him all the glory. We are looking forward and waiting for God’s direction for the next step in His plan. So keep them in prayer.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers for my nose surgery.   We thank God He led us to a good doctor and was like God prepared every step of the way. Everything went well and is healing very fast.  We thank God and your prayers for I only had pain during the time of surgery and the first day.  After that no pain at all, just uncomfortable, now 1 month later can’t hardly see the scar. The scar is in the shape of a heart so I tell everyone God gave me a new heart that reminds me of His love. Haha.

Please continue to pray for our health, protection and provision!  We appreciate and thank everyone who continues faithfully supporting us and praying for us.  We love you all and pray for you every day that God will bless you and protect you as well.

We love y’all!

Ralph and Annie

January Update 2022

2022
1972

Greetings everyone in the Name of Jesus!

We pray that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years holiday and that God is pouring out His blessings in you life.  May God give you all a very safe and prosperous year 2022.  Amen!

We celebrated Christmas last month with our family at Lamp of Khon Kaen Church here in Khon Kaen. We had a great time as I shared about the Greatest Gift at Christmas, Jesus. Afterward we had a great time of fellowship and gift exchange. It was a great blessing to be able to be back in a live services again.

Last month, I went to the doctor to have a nodule on my nose removed because it was bothering me.  The doctor took a specimen to examine first and found out that it was a basal cell carcinoma nodule and must be surgically removed.  So, on the 6th of this month, I had the surgery done and am now recovering really quick and fast.  I get the stitches removed this week and all is going super so far thanks to all the prayers of all our friends and family. All glory to God!

Covid has started rising up again after all the the new year celebrations.  So, we are having to be careful in all things here again and the government is staring up more restrictions everywhere.  So pray for our protections again.

On the 15th of this month, Annie and I are celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Wow! Because of my nose surgery and Covid rising up again, we didn’t make it to Hawaii, nor were we able to tour Europe, our spiritual children had to officiate a funeral and couldn’t join us, and we didn’t make it to the beach.  But we made it as close to the beach as we could and went to the seafood restaurant here in Khon Kaen to celebrate as best as we could in the time being. We had a great time just enjoying the day together. Later we shall celebrate the right way. Amen?

It is truly hard to believe, but it is real, Annie and I have spent 50 years together! Doesn’t seem like it has been a half a century since we made that first decision to live our lives together, and the amazing thing is that we are here at the same place we started at 50 years ago, Thailand.  After we were married we were in Thailand for 2 years, then made the big move to America. We stayed in America for 23 years before coming back to Thailand.  Just as hard to believe, we have been back here over 25 years already.  We went back to America with our 7 month old daughter, Ruby, and our luggage. We came back to Thailand with only our luggage and of course Jesus. I often say during weddings that Annie and I have already fulfilled all of our wedding vows except for one.  We have been poor and well to do, been sick and in health, and the last one death due us part is still to come. But Annie and I are believing and promising to each other before God that we will hold hands when that day comes and go together into the kingdom of heaven.

As I look back over our life this last few weeks, I see how God destined Annie and I to be together even before we knew Him. Everything since we met over 50 years ago, I can see God’s Hand upon us from beginning to end. Everything in our life has been one miracle after another, including how we met till today.  I truly praise God for all that He has done because God always knew that one day we would be serving Him back here in Thailand!

Today we give God all the Glory and thank Him for keeping us together all these years. God kept us together when we didn’t know him for 18 years and after we knew him for 32 years. It has been quite a journey all these years but here we are still going and still serving God.  COVID has been quite a hindrance to our celebrating milestones over the last 2 years and we are hoping we can make up for it this year.  I am planning for the year 2022 to be a year of celebration.  This last year Annie turned 69 and I turned 74 years old, we passed 32 years of ministry, 25 years in Thailand and now 50 years of marriage. So we are overdue for a lot of celebrating.  Amen?  So we continue our journey and always waiting on God to direct us and lead us in His paths.  So we will see as this year goes on, what God will have us to do.  We are ready for whatever that might be.

We also want to thank all of you who support us financially and pray for us because of you we can and have been serving God here in Thailand the last 25 years and continue. We love and appreciate everyone of you. We pray for you everyday that God will bless you, protect you and fulfill all your needs and desires!

We love you all!

Ralph and Annie

December Update 2021

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!  We pray all of you will have a very blessed and wonderful time this year with your family and friends.  May God bless you over and above all your needs in Year 2022!

We are doing good here in Thailand, the Covid situation is getting better every day.  Praise God we are able to do live services with Church on the Rock Buriram and will be doing Christmas service with Lamp of Khon Kaen church as well this month. It is also looking good for a celebration for our 50th anniversary next month too.  Please pray it will continue to get better. Amen?

We ministered at Church on the Rock Buriram the first weekend of this month. We had a great time and God blessed us with His presence. Annie taught and I preached the main service and God ministered to the people. It feels so good to be back to live services and being able to fellowship with our family there again.

Praise God, we were able to share with a group of Vietnamese young people via Zoom this week. We shared about marriage and how to look for the right mate for their lives.  It was truly a lot of fun and a blessing to us as well.

Please continue praying for us in every area. Pray for our health, provision and protection as always. I have a growth on the side of my nose and they took a specimen yesterday for testing.  I will get the results on the 30th of December and they will remove it according to the results. So pray the results come back normal and will be easily removed without any complications!  Amen?

Okay, thanks to everyone for your prayers and financial support, we appreciate everyone of you. Again, have a Wonderful Christmas and new year!  We love you all!

Ralph and Annie
